TASKA final event- Session and booth at SALF

Date: December 8, 2025
Location: Orléans, France

The 11th Annual Science at Low Frequencies (SALF XI) Conference, will take place from 8–12 December 2025 in Orléans, France, with a visit to the Nançay Radio Observatory. This conference is a premier international meeting dedicated to advancing the understanding of the universe through low-frequency radio astronomy. SALF XI will bring together scientists, engineers, and policy experts from across the global astrophysics community to explore the latest discoveries and technological innovations in the low-frequency domain.

Within this vibrant scientific setting, the EXTRACT project will have a dedicated 45-minute session and exhibition booth to showcase its final results, including a live demonstration of Use Case C, which integrates advanced AI-driven data extraction and event recognition tools for radio-astronomical applications. This session will allow participants to learn about EXTRACT results, explore its innovative workflow for automated data analysis, and discuss opportunities for integrating EXTRACT technologies into next-generation observatories and research pipelines.

Participation in SALF XI offers the EXTRACT consortium exceptional visibility among leading astrophysical researchers and system developers, reinforcing the project’s contribution to data-intensive, AI-enabled science in the European and international astronomy landscape.
