BSC partner, Alba Canete, will be presenting the EXTRACT project at the 2024 11th ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage™ event, held in Madrid from 26-28 June 2024.
The EXTRACT project will be shared as part of the first Poster Session, held on 26 June from 17h-17:45.
This event seeks to highlight responsible computing for gender equality. It aims to to celebrate the role and impact of women in computing by offering an international, multisectoral, and multidisciplinary forum to share experience and knowledge, get constructive feedback and to promote meaninful networking.
This year’s theme is “Responsible Computing for Gender Equality” and it seeks to highlight the gender gap in computing and stress the utilitarian nature of computing as a tool to augment human capabilities and contribute to societal progress.
